Temperature rise of the motor measured by the resistance megthod shall not exceed75 degrees cengigrade.
Note : The test conditions and construction of the machine body housing will have an effect on the temperature rise of
the temperature rise og the motor. Therefore it is imperative to check the temperature rise under the specific conditions
laid down by the various Approval Authority Technical Standards. This applies not only to new machines but also to
● Dielectric strength
The motor field and armature windings shall withstand a high potential AC voltage applied between terminals and frame
of 1250V for one minute.
● Insulation resistance
The insulation resistance is more than 2 mega-ohms at an applied voltage of 500V DC.
